MoYu YS3 M 3x3 Magnetic (MagLev)

Very customizable, easy to use. I use Martian in it currently. I haven't tried the ballcore version but I really like the maglev. It's not too fast and not too slow especially if you loosen it a little. I've mained it for probably 5,000 solves and it's still just as good as ever. Logo wore most of the way off a few days ago, so that will happen eventually. It has a very stable, slightly blocky feel by design, so if you like the rs3 series then this is a good choice.

This cube is amazing in everyday possible way. I purchased the ball core magic clothed version and wow. Definitely would say it feels and solves like a really premium cube. Extremely stable but not blocky. I have seen comments like it's a rs3m 2020 clone no way not even close I ordered the 2020 rs3m ball core and the ys3m ballcore. This cube corner cuts like the wrm v9 but a 1000% more stable. No wasting energy trying to stabilize the cube. I would add the ys3m is very forgiving almost like this cube is helping you solve at a faster and at a more efficient rate. I've been cubing for 2 months was averaging 1:20 and now I'm right around sub 40. Ys3m has fast turning but not uncontrollable. I have noticed that you don't have core shifting problems or layers you don't want moving shifting on you like with the wrm v9. With the Ys3m every turn is effective and is my new main.

I got the maglev version. The first thing I noticed it was dry out of the box and and was a little tight. At first it did not meet my expectations. Ok for the price. I added 5 drops of Martian lube and then loosened the tension. Overall, I think it’s a little overrated.

Was looking for and upgrade from my RS3M 2020 to something that felt similar, but with more modern features. The YS3M is in the same vein but with the new ball core and maglev it turns like a dream. Corner cutting isn’t as great as it once was, but this cube is fast. Would definitely recommend. Side note, the UV coating has a really unpleasant sticky feeling until you really get used to it.
