Description

Created by Nissan Motorsports International (now Nissan Motorsports & Customizing, NISMO), the R33 GT-R combines the exhilaration of advanced sports car performance with the comfort of a street machine. The last model on the 2nd generation GT-R platform produced in 2016 not only improved performance but also incorporated the sound and heat insulation on the floor from the R32 CRS and new roof lining. The comfort elements signaled a more mature GT-R, while the engine was updated with parts from the current model such as the R35 GT-R injectors and airflow to provide a complete 'S2' unit that delivered flexibility and response to match the character of the car. In addition, the NISMO heritage project started in 2017 to catalog data on as many genuine parts as possible when each part is stripped back and restored. After each part has been painted in the R35 GT-R dark metal gray, the external and interior of the R33 GT-R CRS is finished to the immaculate standard of a NISMO grand touring car to the envy of car owners and enthusiasts.
