As someone who averages around 1:20, I love this cube. I already have the AoChuang single track version as well as the Gan 562 and can confirm that the Vin 5x5 ranks among them. Its turning feel is smooth with slightly more piece to piece contact than the aforementioned cubes and this combined with the moderate magentic strength provides a feeling of control,. Great corner cutting and overall flexibility, fast outer layers, nice UV coating and color tones. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a pro 5x5.
Really solid cube for the price. I have a single track aochuang that i do like a little better but its pretty close. This is about 1mm bigger than the aochuang and i can notice it a bit, i have medium sized hands and prefer medium-small size cubes and this just barely qualifies for me. Came out of the box a little too loose for my liking but even after tensioning i can tell it would still be way easier to have a pop with this than my aochuang, especially over corner cutting the middle layers. Also has a bit of texture on the inside of the pieces that gives a bit of a sandy feel. Oddly enough i kind of like it because it is still very fast. This cube doesn’t seem to respond to lube as well as other cubes, meaning i found it hard to change the feel of the cube. But overall, nice addition to my collection.
I love this 5x5! It turns pretty smoothly and was definitely worth my money. I would recommend this cube to anyone just getting into 5x5. The uv coating also adds an amazing finishing touch.
