YJ Pocket Cube 4x4 Mini (Magnetic) - 5.6cm

Very good and for the price i recomend this 4x4

Got this as a Mystery puzzle today, This cube preforms INCREDIBLY after some basic setup and TLC, Corner cutting is superb and Stability is great even despite not having a ball core or additional magnetic stabilization. 56MM Size is VERY nice for look ahead. Layers feel slightly sandy OOTB but some lube and about 10 solves later and that feeling is all but replaced by a smooth and tactile feeling. Also the Cube posesses a multi layer torpedo making it fairly pop resistant for a budget even cube. This is absolutely the best cube for new 4x4ers with its price to preformance, however if you are just getting into 4x4 keep in mind only the YJ minis ever really get down to 56, the next smallest you will find is the AoSu v7 at 58mm. Fundamentally this is literally the same puzzle as the Zhisu/Zhilong, so if you own that one you basically have the same cube. However with the rebrand YJ did drop the price, which is very commendable especially in a world of 20 to 60 dollar flagship NXNs. Overall I cannot find one thing fundamentally wrong with this cube. It isn't as flexable or premium as the others. But for 10 dollars do you expect that? Not really, and what you get here is so close to that premium feel that It feels genuinely impossible to complain. Again, i am aware this "Pocket cube" line, is just a soft relaunch of the "Zhilong" line, so I cant go giving my hats off to YJ and saying they are breaking new ground, but if it ain't broke... lower its price and don't fix it i guess.
Overall this Puzzle is a no brainer for any cuber of any skill level. It makes a great backup main and practice puzzle due to its small size and how easily you can do long cubing sessions on it. And for 10 dollars this is the first 4x4 I would call "Multiblind viablle" even though I know 4x4 multi does and should never officially exist, the fact an NXN can be that inexpensive and preform so well is just insane.

good small cube 4x4

Love this cube. Its the same size as a standard 3x3(56mm) which is 2mm smaller than the moyu aosu v7 i have(58mm). Standard 4x4 size is more like 60mm, but my hands are medium size so i like a medium-small cube for the best feel. It felt a little stiff out of the box but it responded really well to lube and feels really good now. The magnet strength is also pretty strong, especially in the middle layers, so it feels very stable. It just doesnt corner-cut quite as well as the aosu, but this was about half the price at $10 so its a killer value.
