Cosmos Lubricant is changing the way speed cubers control their turning!

Most controllable lubricants are very "gummy" which completely changes the turning feel of your speed cube. Cosmos is special because you are able to achieve an extremely controllable turning feel without any added "gumminess".

Recommended for: 2x2 - 5x5, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1

Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I apply Cosmos and how much should I use?

A: We recommend 6 drops for most cases. Follow this guide to learn how to apply Cosmos.

Q: When should I apply and re-apply?

A: Applying lubricant to a new puzzle is an easy, cheap, way to extend the lifespan by reducing friction and also improve performance. Re-apply as desired.

Q: Does Cosmos mix with other lubricants?

A: Yes! Mix Cosmos with any of our other lubricants to create a unique feel.

Good slow Lube

Works very well at slowing down and making a cube smother. Personally I have not used it very much because of how slow it can make a cube, but on some very fast cubes like the Gan 12 a drop of Cosmos can really help it be more controllable.

Serves its purpose (more control)

This is a lube to slow down fast cubes.
The bottle says 6 drops, but I wouldn’t use more than 3 on a 3x3
^Start off with 2 drops (and break it in) before adding more
Imo cosmos makes cubes more controllable than Solar lube (as stated by scs’ diagram)
——Trust me on this—- (I’m not crazy)
cosmos makes turning a cube feel cool And fresh
While solar makes it feel warm and cozy +soft
Cosmos lube makes you feel like an astronaut during a space expedition , cool, calm and in control.

Slow

Works! Don't put to much in or else you'll ruin it.

Does what it says

Cosmos lube is great, but only if you REALLY need to slow down a puzzle. I was looking for a controlling lube for my tornado v3 pioneer so I thought this would be great! Turned out to slow it down a bit too much. I would recommend just getting like a 6-7 slow down, but it does what it’s supposed to
