This cube reminds me a lot of the GAN 15. Both cubes have a papery feel to it while turning. The difference though, is the Gan feels more like rough paper and the V11 feels like a well sanded type of paper. I did not have success with the GAN 15 and was looking for another cube to fill the empty void. I used to main the Guhong Pro 54mm before this, and was looking for another cube to satisfy me. Then came the V11, and I must say first impressions were excellent. I like fast cubes so the speed ootb did not turn me away from this cube. I also prefer my cubes looser, but I noticed that the settings ootb were great as well, even though they are on settings 3/3, which is balanced. Corner cutting is good, though sometimes I start to lock up at times when I cube for too long, and I once in a blue moon get a corner twist. I said the feel of the cube reminded me of the Gan 15, but it also reminds me of the Wrm2021 maglev. The Wrm2021 maglev was one of the most smoothest cubes I've owned, and was like paper/buttery feeling. And while the V11 isn't on THAT level of feeling, it is still reminiscent of the old WRM. Also noticed that the UV coating improved a lot compared to the V10's UV coating. The V11 UV coating isn't as thick or tough on the fingers, so I enjoy actually holding the cube. Some other brand's UV coating is sometimes too thick so it hurts my fingernails just turning the cube. However I feel that GAN's UV coating system is actually great, as before this cube, their cubes were the only ones where I enjoyed the UV coating. V11's UV coating feels similar to the 15, which is probably why I like it. Overall, I give this 5/5 and would recommend this to anyone looking for a new cube :)
