Description

Monster Go is a new brand from the popular manufacturer, GAN! The Monster Go UT 3x3 is one of three trainer cubes designed to help aspiring cubers easily learn how to solve the cube! The UT cube is solved by completing the white layer which can be done intuitively and is great practice for understanding how the cube functions.

Even though Monster Go is separate from GAN, this series is fantastic quality and is guaranteed to hold up against rough turning through a stable core and more controllable turning. The honeycomb design creates a more seamless turning feel and helps to evenly spread out lubricant.

The Monster Go series does come equipped with orange numerical ipg GES springs which can be adjusted by hand to tighten or loosen the puzzle.

Great learning cube!

My six-year-old has been watching me solve 3x3 cubes with intense interest, but he gets frustrated trying to solve puzzles on his own. This gave him a starting point and a puzzle he can actually solve on his own, and it definitely builds confidence while ensuring he's learning one layer at a time.

He's been relatively careful, so it hasn't been tested with the full HULK SMASH! of six-year-old boys, but it turns very nicely and has great corner cutting ability.

I dont regret getting this cube

I got this cube for my friend and she learned how to solve it in 1 day.It was easy for her and now she can solve it everytime.I will get the Rainbow cube for her next.I totally recommend this cube for someone who cant solve a cube yet.

Ok for what it is

The only reason I got this was to piece-swap it with the Monster Go 3x3 to create a unique challenge when pieces are hidden.

For learning, I'm not sure hiding pieces will help that much. I think it's better to be able to see all the pieces, and train them to look for white pieces only to make the first layer.

No Magnets =(

Monster Go UT 3x3 seemed like a good idea for training F2L, but the lack of corner magnets makes it imprecise and difficult to use when coming from other speedcubes. Overall quality is good and the price is right, but you would be better off DIY stickering a different GAN or other cube to practice F2L.
