Customers praised this magnetic speedcube as "excellent value" with "buttery smooth" turning and strong customization options. Many noted it feels "flagship" quality at a budget price. However, some reported issues: the logo sticker wears off quickly, out-of-box performance can be sluggish without lube, and a few experienced breaking or squeaking. Overall, most found it controllable, fast, and ideal for beginners.

- The price point is unbelievably impressive for the quality

The YJ MGC 3x3 is a standout mid-range cube that feels like a flagship. Its turning is buttery smooth with a plush, controlled sensation that makes long solving sessions enjoyable. The magnets are strong enough to keep the cube stable without feeling intrusive.
Corner cutting is excellent, and the cube rarely locks up, even during aggressive solves. For its price, the MGC 3x3 delivers exceptional performance and remains one of the best value cubes on the market.
Honestly out of the box it's not great not bad. It just kinda turns slow and feels sluggish. Put lube in it and made it a bit better. The cube isn't horrible but it's also not great. It's just meh
Great cube for the price
Good cube!
Very awesome cube!
It is smooth and very controllable, and is a nice starter cube too.
the cube squeaks.
The cube broke the first day I got it. The adjustments don't work well. The logo is a cheep sticker that chipps easily.
It broke the first day I had it. The sticker was placed crookedly. For its price and quality, there are much better cubes out there. Untightening the screws doesn't do any difference, overall it's disappointing. Cubes like the HaiTun Waverider are much better and at the same price.
Amazing for its price. Highly recommend it.
I've had 2 of these cube about 5 years and they have severed me well. While it's not as fast or adjustable as more expensive options I wouldn't hesitate to buy again at the price point.
I bought this cube because it was on discount. If you're an amateur at cubing, I wouldn't recommend this cube to you. Out of the box, it's turning feels jammed and forceful. The sticker was placed crookedly, which downgrades it's aesthetic. For its price and quality, there are much better cubes out there.
Untightening the screws doesn't do any difference, plus it will prevent the caps from setting in properly. Lubricating improved just a little. Overall it's disappointing
not bad but there are better. Nod
It’s a pretty good cube thought lube makes it better and also the logo is weak but that’s fine overall it’s pretty decent and a good beginner cube
I received this cube a month back, and waited to write a review. Out of the box this cube is dry and clacky. It has the loudest spring noise I have ever heard. If you are looking for a great cube out of the box, this cube may not be for you, but with a little lube and setup it actually becomes a nice cube. The only real disappointment with the YJ MGC Elite V2 is the Log sticker. After only a dozen or so solves, the log is almost entirety rubbed away. I do wish YJ could fix this.
Over all this is a nice cube!
The cube feels very good but is clacky and not smooth. Needs heavy lube to be broken in.
Nice cube it's a bit slow and dry out of the box, but some lunar and martian made it nice. The logo however is really weak and comes off within the first hour of use
I wish this was my first 3x3. This is the 3x3 I recommend (or send) to friends/family that are interested in trying it out. It is smooth, turns well, doesn't jam. It's satisfying and feels great in the hands. It won't inhibit the explorative enjoyment of a first time cuber the way a low quality cube will, but it also won't break the bank, so if they end up not not loving it, you haven't overinvested. It leaves room to upgrade to even higher quality later, if the passion and budget permits, but it is a solid cube even if you don't upgrade, and won't hold you back. The price point is unbelievably impressive for the quality.
this is my new favorite 3x3 highly recommend this cube and i am going to use this at my next comp.
I got this cube a while back, and it has been my main since. The only thing that could be improved would be the magnet strength.
Out of the box, it did not turn that great, but I added Lunar Lubricant and it was an amazing cube. It's my new main. I've been able to get much better solves with it. Amazing cube!
It was great but the lubrication made it pretty slow out of the box
Its my main, good control and very fast
This is my new main cube. I love it how it turns. It's very fast but controllable.
Amazing cube. it's a bit squeaky, so it's hard to turn quietly.
The turning is amazing, easy adjustable magnets, keychain double sided screwdriver for easy tensioning and adjusting the magnet strength.
It is still perfect after 2 years. I truly reccomend this to everyone.
Works wonderfully and beautifully withstood the test of time. 100% reccomend to everyone
but don't get it for the logo, it fades away very quickly
I've been using this as my main combined with Lunar for years, and it's never failed to delight me. It's incredibly smooth and satisfying to turn, and I've gotten all my PBs on it. The settings are easily customizable, but not to the extent that they're confusing. The packaging comes with a tiny screwdriver, which I find hard to use, so whenever I want to loosen or tighten it, I usually take the screwdriver from the YJ MGC 5x5 box. It also comes with a pamphlet (completely in Chinese (hope you can read Chinese)) for how to use the customization options, and extra logo stickers, which I haven't figured out how to put on yet. Speaking of the logo: The gold M on white was beautiful - for a week. After that, it started wearing away, and eventually I just got the rest of the golden residue off using propyl alcohol. Overall, I really enjoy this cube, and for 20 bucks, it's definitely worth the price.
