This cube solves many problems the v1 had but also introduces a new problem. The v1 was very crunchy and the inner layers felt awful with lots of internal catching while the outer layers felt amazing.

The v2 however, is quite the opposite. Other than its extreme lightweight, yet high quality design, the inner layers are one of the best I've ever felt on a 4x4, but the outer layers are not at all like the v1. It loses a torpedo and is just a long stem/leg connecting to the core for "stability." The 4 center pieces also have a center skirt similar to what the first batch GAN 15 Maglev cubes included which just makes the GAN 460 v2 have a major catching issue for the outer layers. The cube does not have a lot of good tensions so corner cutting kinda sucks on the outside if you have a rough turning style. If you have a soft or light turning style like me though, I can say this is probably the 4x4 for you. It is now my main and I get the best times with it.

Extra info - the cube box is the GAN 562 box with extra plastic on the bottom to suit the size of the 4x4 so it doesn't jiggle around. It comes slightly lubed in the inside, 0 lube on the outside which is good. Worth the price? Honestly not sure. It's for a niche style of cubers and I highly suggest trying before buying if possible. The only obvious similarity to me to the v1, is the magnet capsules are back.
