Better than I thought. and better than Gan almost

bought the MoYu Robot there was just enough mid caps for 4 x RS3M. You need to loosen up the screws so that the robot can turn the cube smoothly otherwise it starts to jam. I use this robot mainly for scrambling as I love to just one-hand solve cubs just to keep my mind nimble and the fact that if for any reason that I want a solved cube I can just place it back in the robot and have it solve it anytime. The Gan robot requires the smart cubes but the software is horrible as you have to learn to navigate the software basically randomly until you discover how to scramble and then solve with a timer of max time of 5 minutes. Problem is that if you get out of sync with your smart cube it won't solve it for you and basically you have to solve it yourself before resending and yes there is a manual entry of entering your scrambled cube and then have the app solve it that way... but Gan app is nuts to use... previous versions the password entry on my flip 6 android phone were tiny tiny text... Older Gan App would let you solve one cube while you scramble the other, but newer app only lets you scramble and then solve cube with timer (max 5min) then repeat and rinse where-as the Moyu Cube solving robot doesn't need any apps and you can scramble or solve as many cubes as you like provided you have enough centers for all your cubes. If you can still pick up a MoYu robot, do so before they run out... if they do run out, you are out of luck then because MoYu was only manufacturing these robots for a limited time. However I do have to say the MoYu Cubes are not really magnetic so their alignment is really bad... but for general use, it is what it is. Gan robots and smart cubes are still around and basically one smart cube to one robot and you will need to figure out the App (good luck), but at least the Gan cubes are so much better in quality but it will cost you.... bad app, good cube.

I like it overall

I use it for scrambling rather than solving, though it can do both. Sometimes it gets stuck and needs to be fiddled with before it can continue. Also, the cube it comes with is fairly “soft” which slows down solving a bit. But if you can afford it, get one!

No app required! Scrambles and solves supported Moyu cubes/non-smartcubes

- Supported cubes: Scrambles and solves supported Moyu cubes, both non-smartcubes and smartcubes. Supported means that they included corresponding replacement center caps in the box. However, in my experience, the included RS3 M 2020 center caps are shallow and tend to pop out while manually solving (vs. the original center caps that are deep and secure), and that lowers my rating (I don't want to switch back to the original center caps before solving). I haven't tried other Moyu cubes yet.
- Compared with the GAN Robot v2, it has a lower build quality, but at least you don't need a smartcube or proprietary smartphone app for basic scramble and solve commands. In fact, there is no app and that elevates my rating.
